Laser Surgery

Laser surgery uses laser beams, high intensity light of a specific wavelength that can be focused into a narrow beam, to treat or correct various conditions and abnormalities. They allow surgeons to work very precisely as the beam of light can be focused onto a specific point, causing less damage to surrounding tissues. Laser surgery is performed to treat various foot and ankle conditions

Laser surgeries may be performed under local anesthesia. The laser beam is either directed on the skin or through an endoscope, a camera and light-fitted tube that is inserted into your body to slowly destroy or vaporize the abnormal tissue. During the procedure, you may experience slight discomfort or sensation of heat.

Laser surgery results in quicker healing and less downtime than traditional surgery.
